Linguistic Training Available in North America

Many of Wycliffe's language-related roles require training from an accredited institution. The level of training and the types of classes depend on which role the worker desires. Five of the most common language roles requiring academic training are:

  1. Language Surveyor
  2. Linguistic-Bible Translator
  3. Linguistic-Bible Translation Assistant
  4. Linguistics Specialist
  5. Literacy Worker

Most of the schools listed below offer the minimum courses required for these five language roles. To get a list of these required courses, talk with us.
