TOTAL Vision

Overview:

TOTAL Vision will give you an interactive glimpse of the work of Bible translation around the world and provide an opportunity to learn basic elements of linguistics, translation and language learning. You won’t just hear about it; you’ll experience it through role-playing, simulations and skits.

Field reports, videos and personal testimonies each night will round out the experience. Community devotions, worship and group living arrangements lead to meaningful relationships between staff and students. Learn in a relaxed, informal setting with experienced translators from different countries and language projects. After five spiritually and mentally challenging days, decide for yourself where you fit in Bible translation!

PURPOSE:

To provide participants with an introduction to the academic and ministry aspects of translation and linguistics, and to encourage them in their pursuit of becoming personally involved in the Bible translation movement.
