Operations

Building an Eternal Foundation

There are many logistics involved in supporting Bible translation all over the globe. Loads of supplies have to be purchased and shipped internationally, and it’s tough meeting so many import and export requirements.

operations_ca-CA-170-55.jpgBuildings, roads and even runways must be constructed and maintained. So construction teams and maintenance workers use their crafts on behalf of Bible translation.

Carpenters, electricians, welders, plumbers, landscapers and mechanics are just a few of the technical specialists who keep missionary homes and office facilities (both stateside and overseas) operational. They know that as they plan, repair and build, they are enabling people to build their lives on the firm foundation of God’s Word.

“Over 300,000 pounds of missionary supplies—from aircraft parts to computers, school books to printing paper, shoes to sheets—were sent to more than 80 countries last year. Every package enables and encourages someone in our worldwide Bible translation team.”
