Who We Are
We are a family of many unique individuals who have come together for a common goal: God’s Word for the whole world.
We each lend our one-of-a-kind talents and skills to the cause of Bible translation, and together we trust God for transformed lives.
We are men and women, young and old, from many nations and of many colors and cultures. We come from many different churches and denominations, but we all worship one Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Unified in our calling, we pray for and work towards the day when every language community will have an equal opportunity to discover God’s truth in the Bible.
We understand that our future runs through our past. Our history clearly tells the story of God's blessing.
Our identity has been defined by those who have gone before us. It continues to be molded by the women and men who serve as our leaders today. When you meet the people who serve on the Wycliffe USA Board and the Senior Leadership Team, you'll get a glimpse into what is important to us.
Statistics might help you get a feel for the state of Bible translation in the world—but seeing what kinds of things we count and measure will also give you a sense of what we value.
We've made some declarations of values and beliefs as a community of faith. When you read these, you'll know the things that we are willing to defend.
