Chinese Recruitment Ministries

The year 2007 marked the bicentennial of the arrival of Robert Morrison, the first Protestant missionary, to China. Morrison also was the first to translate the whole Bible into Chinese. About a century later, the Chinese Union Version was translated by a panel with missionaries from many different Protestant denominations. It has also become the most widely used version of the Chinese Bible. Can you imagine where the Chinese Church would be today or if there would be any Chinese church at all if there was no Chinese Bible? Can you imagine sitting in the darkness without spiritual nourishment? That is the situation for over 2,500 language groups in the world. Through committed believers, Chinese speakers have been blessed for more than two centuries with the Word of God.

Ask us how your training, professional skills or interests could make an impact in missions through Bible translation. Come! Join other Chinese who are already involved in making His Word available to Bibleless peoples!

All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O Lord; they will bring glory to your name.
