Gertrude will serve as a trip host. Her first assignment with Wycliffe was as a Literacy Specialist in Papua New Guinea. Gertrude has been serving Wycliffe most recently as a Recruiter.

"I am celebrating the faithfulness of God who loves to do what he promises to do. Habakkuk 2:14 reads, 'For as the waters fill the sea, the earth will be filled with an awareness of the glory of the Lord." Through Bible translation, God is making himself known across the earth."

Bob, along with his wife Dallas, will join the celebration in Puerto Princesa.

"I am celebrating the fact that I get to be a part of God making history in the African-American community, using my friend and colleague, Jacqueline Huggins, and the entire Kagayanen team. God has been so faithful to us as a race of people, and it's a privilege to be used by Him to make a difference in lives around the world. I'm celebrating by faith that many more African-Americans will be a part of bringing people from every tribe, language and nation into the Kingdom....Rev. 5:9b."

-Estella Trostle

Estella and her husband Mark love to facilitate short-term mission ventures as a way for people to more deeply experience what God is doing around the world through Bible translation. Estella will serve as a host on the Vision Trip.

Aileen is preparing to serve with Wycliffe Asia/Pacific in Manila on the Monsoon Team and hopes to participate in this celebration as one of her first assignments in this new role. For the past 5 years she has been working with the Communications team in the States.

Ruth will travel as a host for the April trip and personally can't wait to share this adventure with dear friends who will also attend.

-Kevin Nicholas

Kevin will serve as a trip host. His first Wycliffe assignement was in the Philippines where he worked as an IT specialist. Kevin is currently pursuing a degree at Dallas Theological Seminary.

"I am celebrating God's faithfulness in using a multi-cultural team of translators to bring His Word to the Kagayanen people. God does indeed speak Kagayanen!"

-John Chesnut

John is Director of SIL Philippines where he and his wife Kelly (and seven children) have served for the past five years.

"I am celebrating the translation team...for their years of service and their dedication to the task. May God use the Kagayanen New Testament and Genesis to draw others to Himself!"

-Tammy Schutt

Tammy and her family live and serve with Wycliffe in the Philippines. She is one of many people participating in the planning for this great celebration.

Mark is coordinating the 2008 Vision Trip to the Philippines. While his wife will travel with the group as a host, Mark will stay home with their boys in Dallas where he also serves on the staff of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship.
