Training Language Workers
Providing Tools for the Task
As with any job, individuals pursuing language-related work require training. Today trainers are needed at a variety of levels. Whether they equip new workers, or whether they provide ongoing training for seasoned workers, Wycliffe trainers provide important skill development opportunities.
Wycliffe places a high value on equipping individuals to take ownership of their own linguistic programs. Consequently, a large percentage of training involves national workers. Cross-cultural training environments offer a unique group dynamic that can be both challenging and rewarding.
