Jim Leamer: Recruiter for the IT Mission Field
Find out about the role of technology in missions by asking Jim Leamer to visit. In an engaging presentation, Jim will explain how God has used IT professionals to advance the Great Commission.
During his presentation, Jim will address the following three topics:
Technology in Missions
Jim gives a general overview of how technology is used by various ministries around the world. He discusses radio, TV, video, digital audio, interactive CDs and computers. He also covers aviation, farming, water systems and medical work, but in less detail. (30 to 60 minutes, depending on time available).
Basis for Missions
Jim shows the basis for missions in a series of presentations. Starting with the basis in "Awesome Creator" through "Wedding of the Church," he illustrates how and why involvement is crucial. (20 minutes)
News, Tools and Trends in Missions
Jim provides a brief update, including statistics, about what is happening in the world of Christianity. (5 minutes)
