The JOURNEY is a fast-paced, hands-on program. Instead of being told what
missions is all about, you experience it.
The Journey aims to:
> Pray more intelligently for missionaries.
> Understand the scope of a missionary's needs.
> Maybe even make a personal commitment to missions yourself.
What you will experience:
> Right in the middle of your comfort zone you received
God's call. It's confirmed by your local church. You apply to a mission
agency, complete your education and training and get that necessary visa
and passport.
> You're commissioned by your local church. Buy an airline
ticket and you're off. After the hassles of immigration and customs-you're
there at last, the field.
> The sights, sounds, smells, taste and language of another
culture come to life. Experience the mission field up-close and personal
while staying close to home.

The task to disciple the nations...beginning in Jerusalem,
is a daunting one for most Christians. Multiculturalism at home is increasing
and then there are the unreached and the Bibleless overseas. How can we
put the New Testament vision for the church back into its context and
encourage the same attitudes and vision today?
The Mission Possible is a unique way of motivating the entire church towards
lifestyle evangelism at home and involvement in the Great Commission around
the world at the same time.
Mission Possible aims to:
* give you new insight into cross-cultural missions.
* assist you and your church to identify the large numbers of non-Christian
friends and contacts you already have.
* help you apply the dynamics gleaned from overseas experience to reaching
non-Christian friends and contacts in the local environment.
What you will experience
Mission Possible is carefully designed to involve the majority of people
in a particular church or cell groups.
