Wycliffe USA Thanks WEA Panel for Their Report

Wycliffe Bible Translators USA is grateful to the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), Dr. Robert Cooley, and the rest of the WEA review panel members for their faithful work to conduct an independent review of our translation practices and policies for translating terms that refer to ‘God the Father’ and the ‘Son of God.’ As part of the global Church, their work provides wisdom and guidance as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission.

We received the panel’s report and will work with our strategic partner, SIL International, to take steps to develop a plan to implement these recommendations as soon as possible. Wycliffe USA is committed to maintaining the integrity of God’s Word through accurate, clear, and natural translation. We are driven by a single passion: providing access to the Word for every person on earth in the language they understand best.

We’re asking our partners and supporters around the world to pray with us as we submit to the panel’s recommendations and move into the implementation phase.
