From First Words to Final Printing
This summer Wycliffe has targeted a number of projects as part of a three-pronged outreach in Asia, the South Pacific, and Africa. It is an effort that encompasses the entire spectrum of Wycliffe’s work, from first words to final printing:
- Your gift will support completion of four Scripture translations: the Ifugao, the Luseri, the Mono and the Ngbandi-Ngiri languages. A total of $341,432 is needed to fund these four language projects.
- Wycliffe will use your gift to provide Scripture translation reference materials in the national languages in Thailand and several other heavily populated Asian nations to equip mother-tongue translators to understand Scripture and translation principles. This is a huge effort that will require $84,866 this summer.
- You’ll help fund translated New Testaments that are ready to go to print in Kenya, Cameroon and Papua New Guinea. This is the "final words" stage of the process—crossing the finish line. A total of $75,692 is needed to print these Scriptures for four language communities who have waited so eagerly to receive them.

All of these projects need your help throughout the summer, since $501,990 is needed to fully fund them.
NOTE: Some names of places and languages may have been changed to safeguard work in sensitive areas.
Message from the President
From first words to final printing—providing access to the very Word of God in a language that speaks to the heart—is what God has called Wycliffe to do. Every dollar you give during this summer campaign will be greatly appreciated by all those who long for God’s Word in the language they understand best. Thank you and God bless you.
Warmly in Christ,
Bob Creson
