Chip Sanders and his wife, Kathy, have been with Wycliffe USA and SIL, a Wycliffe strategic partner organization, since 1997. Until 2007, they lived in the Philippines and worked with SIL in Southeast Asia, where Chip served as Academic Resources Coordinator, Language Programs Manager, Regional Director and Academic Director. From 2001 to 2003, Chip also served as inter-mission (serving multiple missions organizations) school board chair in Davao, Philippines.
Prior to joining Wycliffe USA, Chip served as a local church missions committee chair and elder, as well as helping to pioneer a church plant in Boston’s inner city. He also accrued 16 years’ experience in the chemical industry, where he applied a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. During that time, Chip became manager of the analytical and technical services laboratories for a Fortune 500 company.
Today, Chip and Kathy live in Dallas, Texas. They have two adult children and one grandchild. As an SIL global leadership consultant, Chip leads various organizational initiatives, orients new leaders, assists leaders with strategic planning and coaches leaders.
