Lindsay Olesberg is a renowned Bible study teacher and trainer with more than 25 years of experience in ministry. She loves the Bible and God's global mission.
Lindsay graduated from Pomona College in 1988 with a degree in Asian studies. She began working with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA shortly thereafter, and has continued to do so for the last 28 years. Lindsay led campus ministries in California and Iowa for many years, engaging the campus with the gospel, discipling students and training the next generation of leaders. In the last decade, she has served at the national and international level for InterVarsity and the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES). Since 2003, Lindsay has provided leadership for Scripture Engagement at Urbana, InterVarsity's triennial missions conference. She served in a similar role for Lausanne's third global congress, Cape Town 2010. Lindsay's current roles are Scripture Engagement Director for InterVarsity and Catalyst for Scripture Engagement for the Lausanne Movement.
In 2012, Lindsay published “The Bible Study Handbook: A Comprehensive Guide to an Essential Practice” with InterVarsity Press. The following year, her Bible study guide, “Ephesians: Studying with the Global Church,” was published by Hendrickson.
Lindsay and her husband, Jon, have two teenage children and live in Iowa City, Iowa.
