During a period of restlessness in her life, Dr. Camille Hippolyte decided to download the Bible onto her phone. After listening to three quarters of the Old Testament and the Gospel of John, she surrendered her life to Christ. From that point forward, Camille had a hunger and a fervor for God’s Word. She found the Bible to be a “bottomless book,” and wondered about those who had no access to it.

After signing up for a missions course at her church, Camille was directed to take a Perspectives class, where she learned about Wycliffe’s work. God then revealed to Camille that her skills as a medical professional are needed in Bible translation, and that she didn’t have to give up the passions and skills he gave her in order to serve his kingdom globally.
