Have you ever heard the phrase, “Pay it forward”? The idea is that you are kind to someone else because someone was kind to you. Maybe you’ve heard stories of or even experienced an act of “paying it forward” — like when you pull up at the drive-through window and someone has already paid for your order, so you choose to pay for the order of the person behind you in line. This is a simple but easy way to spread an act of kindness to others and make their day better!
In this activity, kids and their families learn about practical ways to pay it forward to others in their lives and people around the world.
What would it look like to intentionally start a habit of paying it forward in your life or your family’s life? Together we can help shine Jesus’ light in our neighborhoods and around the world by intentionally being kind and generous, just like Jesus calls us to.
