For many people around the world, schooling is a part of childhood and even adulthood. It’s an opportunity to learn how to read and write, learn about mathematics, science, history and so much more. And there’s not a standard way of schooling — different cultures and countries have their own systems and schedules, and there can actually be a lot of variety!
We thought it would be fun for kids to learn how school is done in different parts of the world. That way they can see the similarities and the differences between what school looks like for them and what it might look like for kids living in other countries. They’ll get to learn about school in places like South Korea, Nigeria or Brazil, and think about some goals they’d like to accomplish by the end of the school year. It’s a fun, engaging way to get kids ready for a new school year, too!
