Explore Wycliffe Live: Sign Language Bible Translation

You can join from anywhere on the web!

You're invited to Explore Wycliffe Live!

Explore Wycliffe Live is a free event designed for you to hear from Wycliffe members who serve around the world. Learn about the roles that are needed in Bible translation as well as what is happening in Bible translation in their location.

This month: There is a huge need for sign language Bible translations and it takes a team of people with varying training and gifts to make it happen. Join in to hear from Dan and Carolyn Rehder share about the work and needs within our Global Sign Language Team.

Dan and Carolyn  joined Wycliffe in 2015. After praying to the Lord and committing that they would serve Him wherever He called them, they learned that less than 2% of the 70 million Deaf have access to the Gospel in a language they can understand. They felt God's call and wanted to bring God's Word to the Deaf. Dan and Carolyn spent 1 year completing the sign language  orientation and training program in Romania.  They are now living in Costa Rica attending language school to prepare them for their long term assignment in Bogotá, Colombia with the Global Sign Languages Team.

A sign language interpreter will be available during this event.

When: Sunday Nov. 11, 7-8pm CST
