Spiritual Preparedness

How can you be prepared for long term cross-cultural service? What are the spiritual disciplines needed in order to not just survive but thrive long term on the field?

Jamie Farr grew up as a MK (missionary kid) among the Korafe people in Papua New Guinea.  He knows what it is to be a true TCK (third culture kid). His dad just retired after 50 years on the field translating Scripture. Jamie and his wife Anita served in Thailand for five years and established the international school there still in operation today. Currently Jamie is the VP of HR for Workforce Planning and Recruitment, Staffing, and Development~Orientation~Training at Wycliffe Bible Translators.

Join in to hear stories of growing up on the field and continuing to work in Bible Translation, and how you can be prepared for a life of cross-cultural service.
