The Ale people of Ethiopia need God’s Word, and the translation team is working hard to provide it. So far they have drafted a number of New Testament books, plus Genesis, in their language — but these Scripture portions can’t be printed until the government approves their publication. In the meantime, a project to provide the “JESUS” film for the Ale people has begun. The “JESUS” film uses a translation of Luke’s Gospel as the script, and has transformed thousands of lives across the globe as people have understood it in their own languages. You can help share the story of Christ’s life, death and resurrection with the Ale. Your gift will help produce the “JESUS” film this year, opening the door for God’s Word to soak into the hearts and lives of the Ale people.
Funds in excess of the current need will be applied to a similar project or to future needs within the same project.
