Craig and Carolyn Clendinen

Craig and Carolyn Clendinen have served with Wycliffe Bible Translators since 2005, helping reach those without the Gospel in their own language. The Clendinens served in Washington, D.C., coordinating Wycliffe's work with foreign embassies as well as with UN representatives in New York. In 2011, they moved to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, advocating for Wycliffe's ministry to the Bibleless peoples in east Africa. Craig joined Wycliffe's Asia leadership team in 2015 to help bring the Gospel to some of the most closed countries in the world. The Clendinens' Wycliffe ministry is helping transform unreached people groups through demonstrating the power of the translated Scriptures through practical and eternal impact. Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.

Launch Expense Account

Wycliffe establishes the Launch Expense Account for setup needs beyond recurring ministry and living expenses.

Examples of what these funds cover are training and orientation courses, airfare, visas, immunizations, language learning, work permits, house setup, vehicle, equipment purchases, shipping, etc.
