The Wycliffe Ministry of

Elizabeth Eno

Elizabeth Eno, graduated from the University of Delaware, USA (‘04) with a degree in Education & English as a Second Language. She joined Wycliffe Bible Translators (2004).

Elizabeth worked with One-Story, in S. Asia to craft Biblically accurate, culturally relevant oral Bible stories for the ‘Kahani’ people. She then worked as a story-consultant and managed several mother-tongue story teams.

Elizabeth currently serves as the Team Leader for Wycliffe USA's Volunteer & Intern Placement team. She leads the team that is responsible for interviewing, training, sending and debriefing with all of Wycliffe's volunteers and interns! Elizabeth also works one-on-one with the applicants and she loves engaging with passionate students as well as figuring out all the logistical details necessary to send someone overseas!

Ultimately, she says, "I am honored to be a part of sending help to Bible Translators on the field so that the work of getting God's Word to those who have never had it can move forward! I truly love my job!"

Recently, Elizabeth has helped send volunteers & interns ages 17 to 56 to the following locations: Ghana, Papua New Guinea, Ethiopia, Thailand, Uganda, Cambodia, and three locations in South Asia.

Each volunteer helped meet a critical need among Wycliffe's translation teams. From creating digital apps for villagers to have access to scripture in their own languages, to tutoring missionary kids, to editing dictionaries, to teaching English, serving as a nurse, and helping with I.T. Bible translation work was significantly aided by these practical efforts of the interns and volunteers.

She and her husband, Jason, live in Florida with their daughter, Lily, who was born April 20, 2017.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to this account directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.
