The Wycliffe Ministry of

Eric & Mary Lynn Kindberg

Eric and Mary Lynn are committed to Bible translation for people groups who still need God's Good News in their heart language.

Since 1981 Mary Lynn and Eric have been members of Wycliffe and SIL International. They have worked in translation, literacy, and Scripture engagement with the Quechuas (Peru), Mapuches (Chile), and Guaymi (Panama). After 2005 they now work at a regional center in the Charlotte, NC area.

Currently on the management team for Global Publishing Services, SIL International’s publishing arm, Eric's role is to solicit, edit, and push to publication academic research that undergirds Bible translation, training, and language development worldwide. He networks with editors, authors, consultants, and the management team to publish digital and print books.

A successful translation program requires fluency in the native language. Mary Lynn now advises and coaches missionaries in the necessary principles and methodology for acquiring a minority language on the field. Coaching requires developing a strategic program tailored to personality, learning styles, and context.

Son Jonathan is a bilingual pastor and church planter, and daughter Christine is a Spanish editor for Tyndale House Publishing. Both live in the Chicago area.

Please prayerfully consider investing financially and through prayer with Eric & Mary Lynn’s Wycliffe ministry, to impact the lives of those who have yet to hear of God's love for them.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to this account directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.
