Andrew Case | Wycliffe Bible Translators
The Wycliffe Ministry of

Andrew Case

Andrew and his wife have served in Equatorial Guinea, and now are working for the peoples of Mexico, focusing mainly on Old Testament translations. Andrew is a translation consultant, which means he helps check translations for accuracy and train translation teams. You know how there are people that check food products before they hit the grocery store, to make sure they’re fresh and delicious? That’s basically what Andrew does with Bible translations. He also works on innovative methods for oral drafting of Scripture in different languages, as well as audio Bible dramatization. The music he writes and records is also available at his website at no charge. You can find his academic articles at https://sbts.academia.edu/AndrewCase. You can also follow Andrew and Bethany's work at facebook.com/workingfortheword.

Why invest in the work of Bible translation? A few reasons:
1. The Great Commission assumes the task of Bible translation. You can’t make disciples of the nations if those disciples can’t access God’s word in the language they understand best.
2. Language groups on every continent are yearning for the complete Bible, which means they want the Old Testament too. Hundreds of people groups only have access to the New Testament, and they need the OT desperately. Can you imagine being a Christian without any Psalms in your Bible?
3. Spiritual growth, sound doctrine, healthy churches, theological education, humble and knowledgeable leaders, fighting heresies like the prosperity gospel–all depend on having access to a Bible that communicates clearly and accurately in someone’s heart language.

May the Lord lead you and bless you as you consider how you might be a part of God’s kingdom work by partnering with Andrew financially and in prayer.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.
