The Wycliffe Ministry of

Doug & Nancy Dillingham

We can have the greatest impact on Bible translation and Scripture engagement when our people, in appropriate numbers, are engaged and deployed strategically, developed appropriately, and supported effectively.

Much of the work Doug does with Wycliffe Human Resources revolves around the identification of critical and strategic workforce needs and the promotion of these ministry opportunities on digital sites and professional job boards. Routinely engaging with partner organizations like JAARS and SIL, he exchanges information of common interest and collaboratively develops, implements, and evaluates strategies and systems that steward each of our shared people resources.

Refuge 139 is a JAARS Youth and Family Ministries program that reflects an understanding of God’s heart for missionary family care. Our goal is to provide a high quality, meaningful program overseas that addresses the specific needs of our missionary kids (MKs). Nancy leads the development and implementation of R139 curriculum - being both creative herself and supervising a small team of writers and other helpful volunteers. Doug promotes the associated volunteer-enabled short-term mission opportunities with local churches and through social media and the program's website, http://refuge139.org/.

Together, their passion is to see all God's servants fully equipped to excel in the tasks He has called them to do. Doug and Nancy serve together at the JAARS Center, located in Waxhaw, NC.

We invite you to join their Wycliffe partnership team through prayer and monthly financial giving as they pursue their places in the global Bible translation movement.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to this account directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.
