M &J are serving the Bibleless in Asia through Language Survey Consulting and Scripture Typesetting. They have a passion to see the rapidly growing Church in Asia have access to the life-transforming Word of God in the languages they easily understand.

M & J have been serving the people in a small country in Asia for 8 years in the role of Language Survey which helps clarify the remaining needs for Scripture and lays the groundwork for translation projects.
Now that they are based in the States for a season, they will continue the work remotely supporting Asia and Mexico. Micah will use his Survey experience to help teams in other countries bring to light the remaining Scripture needs among different language communities. Survey is a necessary part of a translation. It informs translation project leaders about possible language or community challenges that will impact translation decisions.

Micah's second remote role is typesetting. This means guiding translation teams in preparing the text to be published, including formatting the text, checking it for punctuation and spelling errors or other issues. We want God's Word to be easy to use and communicate well to these communities.
