Steve Moitozo

Steve lives in Maine with his two young adult sons Stephen and Evan. Steve's elderly father, Steve Sr, also lives with them.

His vision is to see people thriving in their communities using the languages that mean the most to them.

Steve serves as the Associate Executive Director for Global Resourcing with SIL International, Wycliffe's premiere partner in applied linguistics and field work. Steve's team is scattered all over the world helping SIL leverage the latest approaches in organizational design, innovation, and marketing to enable SIL as they help people around the world use their languages for the parts of life that matter most to them; especially knowing God in the person of Jesus through the Bible.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.

Launch Expense Account

Wycliffe establishes the Launch Expense Account for setup needs beyond recurring ministry and living expenses.

Examples of what these funds cover are training and orientation courses, airfare, visas, immunizations, language learning, work permits, house setup, vehicle, equipment purchases, shipping, etc.
