Stephanie has been interested in Bible translation for almost as long as she can remember. Hearing stories of people finally being able to read God’s Word in their own language has always touched her heart, and she recognized its importance in building up a strong and vibrant church. When she discovered and fell in love with linguistics while in undergrad, it became clear that Bible translation was in her future.

Stephanie lived in Southeast Asia for six years as an English teacher, while studying linguistics in the summers. She joined Wycliffe in November, 2021, and is now preparing to return to Southeast Asia – this time as a Bible translator! She will be joining a team to help translate the Bible into a minority language.
