Bringing God’s Word to the people of the Buamu Cluster
One day, a group of Buaba Christians listened as the Parable of the Sower was read from Matthew 13 in their language. Although they had heard the parable in other languages before, it had never been so clear and understandable!
“The Christian community has expressed a great deal of interest in having the Word of God translated into their language,” says a project adviser.
This three-year project is working to bring more Scripture to two languages spoken by Buaba people — Buamu Laa and Buamu Cui.
The Buamu Laa team will publish Acts, and work with a translation expert to revise and check the 17 remaining books of the New Testament.
The Buamu Cui team will publish and record the Gospel of Mark. This will be the first Scripture available in their language! They will also revise and check 15 other books.
Your prayers and investment will help bring God’s Word to the people of the Buamu Cluster!
Funds in excess of the current need will be applied to a similar project or to future needs within the same project.
