What is your idea of a typical missionary? Is it a solitary figure working tirelessly in a faraway jungle? If so, then it’s time to change that idea! In fact, you’ll find that more and more missionaries are not only working alongside other team members, but they also have a family and kids.
Refuge139 is a JAARS ministry that focuses on missionary kids (MK) living overseas. Through this ministry, you’ll touch the lives of boys and girls all over the world by volunteering short-term to help run a vacation Bible school program for MKs during regional conferences. These conferences serve as vital times of learning, spiritual enrichment, fellowship and planning for missionary teams, and your involvement ensures their kids have an equally inspiring time!
