What Does the Bible Mean to You?

Inspire the world with stories of why the Bible matters.

#WhyBible 2017 will officially launch on September 1!

With each year that passes, a growing percentage of Americans believe that the Bible is just another book written by men. That’s why the #WhyBible campaign exists. It is a movement of individuals and organizations around the world coming together to share stories of the Bible’s influence and significance.

And at Wycliffe, we know the impact of the Bible when it is translated into the language that speaks directly to peoples’ hearts. Because when people clearly understand the message of the gospel for themselves, lives are changed. As this video explains, they find healing, forgiveness and restoration through God’s Word.

We believe that everyone deserves to have their lives changed by the Bible in a language they can clearly understand. That way, we can all be a part of seeing Jesus’ words in Matthew 24:14 come true: “ … the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it” (NLT).

The Bible matters. And when it’s in a language people can clearly understand, it changes lives. Join the #WhyBible movement and share what the Bible has done in your life!
