THE WYCLIFFE MINISTRY OF

Dan & Diane Hintz

Dan & Diane Hintz

Dan and Diane are delighted to partner with a dedicated team of Peruvian Quechua (pronounced KETCH-u-wa) believers on Bible translation and linguistics. Excitingly, Dan and the team recently completed the final revision of the Sihuas Quechua New Testament! Next up is recording the text for audio players—and the readers are already practicing. Following the audio production, layout and proofreading will begin for the printed edition. Dan and Diane are incredibly encouraged by how local churches have embraced the Scripture portions printed so far (Genesis, Ruth, and the Gospel of Luke) and the Bible study materials that Diane helped to create. In fact, the largest church in the area has become a vibrant missionary hub, sending out members to teach lessons from these books in their own community and in newly established neighboring churches. The linguistic work is moving forward as well! Dan and Diane are continuing their collaboration with the team on vital language dictionaries for both Sihuas Quechua and Corongo Quechua.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
