John and Barb worked for over fifteen years in Mozambique. During that time they trained a team of Sena speakers who have since completed the entire New Testament in their language.
John and Barb are assigned to The Seed Company, an affiliate organization of Wycliffe. John is currently serving as mentor and translation consultant to the Chibi translation team in Brazil. Barb's passion is to help translators discover the discourse structure of their languages to make their translations of the Bible more natural and dynamic. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
