The Robinsons have served since 1999 as Bible translators in a language of West Asia with around 7 million speakers. Working closely with their team of local partners in translation, the Robinsons were overjoyed to see the New Testament published in 2023. The team is now working on publishing a Bible app with audio and making plans for Old Testament translation.
Starting in July 2025, Mark and Lara have launched a new global initiative bringing together a team of experts to help the Bible translation movement do a better job at addressing the Scripture access needs of frontier people groups, those with little or no witness to Christ. The Robinsons count it a privilege to be part of what God is doing in this segment of the world so characterized by spiritual darkness. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
