With over 500 languages and a population around 180 million people, Nigeria is fertile ground for Bible Translation work. Wycliffe’s field partner SIL has 80 workers from all over the world serving many of the 120 ongoing language projects.
Fittokka is part of the language assessment team helping to evaluate the sociolinguistic and socio-political situation of the 240 languages in Nigeria that have no scripture yet. Fittokka is personally following God’s call to be a missionary in his own land and is trusting God to supply all his needs.
