Joan serves global work in Bible translation and language development through analysis of information needs that support strategic decision-making and operational performance in SIL Global.
Joan also serves on the Archives Services administration team, guiding development and best practices in archiving to support the preservation and ongoing availability of the material products of programs in SIL units and organizations around the world. These materials include research, translated scripture, literacy, health and other education, spiritual development and scripture engagement resources.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
