Mark & Megan Wegner became Wycliffe USA members in 2022 and are excited to be serving the global Bible translation movement in Nigeria. Mark had his interest in Bible translation stoked during the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course he took while in college. He later received his MA in Linguistics and Translation at Trinity Western Seminary (CanIL) to help train for his present role as a translation technical advisor with the Kamuku language project. Megan's passion for missions and childcare was strengthened during her time working in an orphanage in Nicaragua while she was in college. She supports Mark in his translation work while homeschooling their three girls, Naomi, Sierra and Wren.

 

Their family feels so blessed to have a small role in God's work of building His Kingdom, especially among the Bibleless peoples of Nigeria. Partnering with brothers and sisters in Christ financially and prayerfully is essential to the ministry of helping Bibleless people groups in Nigeria receive God’s Word in their first language.
