Patrick & Sue Schmidt

Patrick and Sue are retired Wycliffe missionaries volunteering at JAARS in Waxhaw, North Carolina. They served several years (Sue for 38 years and Patrick for 36 years) in support roles primarily in Ghana and Cameroon. Sue also served in Colombia.
We invite you to pray for them in this new season of life.
Any continued contributions should be preferenced "for the Wycliffe retirement pension of Patrick and Sue Schmidt.” Tax-deductible receipts will be issued by Wycliffe for these donations, which will be forwarded as Wycliffe retirement pension.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.

Launch Expense Account

Wycliffe establishes the Launch Expense Account for setup needs beyond recurring ministry and living expenses.

Examples of what these funds cover are training and orientation courses, airfare, visas, immunizations, language learning, work permits, house setup, vehicle, equipment purchases, shipping, etc.
