The Edelens have a passion to see every last people group reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ! (Revelation 7:9-10)

Matt is a graduate of Washington Bible College, Capital Bible Seminary, and the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics. He is an ordained minister of the gospel. Caroline is a graduate of Washington Bible College and Lancaster Bible College.

After many years of ministry in the U.S. in the Washington D.C. area, the Lord called them to SE Asia unreached people groups. They have lived and ministered in SE Asia since 2007, primarily focused on remote people groups deep in the rainforest. They also assist Bible translation and distribution efforts among 50 other languages in the same region, including training & mentoring native-speaker Bible translators and assisting the Scripture-use initiatives of national workers.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.

Launch Expense Account

Wycliffe establishes the Launch Expense Account for setup needs beyond recurring ministry and living expenses.

Examples of what these funds cover are training and orientation courses, airfare, visas, immunizations, language learning, work permits, house setup, vehicle, equipment purchases, shipping, etc.
