Serving in Mexico as Language Family Generalists, Corey & Amy work with a family of 8 languages called Mixe (pronounced "Mee-hay") to assess the outstanding linguistic and translation needs for those languages and work to bridge any gaps. These gaps may include updating or completing a translation, providing access to literacy training for the indigenous people, documenting the languages in order to help preserve them, participating in training Mixe linguists and translators, as well as connecting the Mixe to existing translations and linguistic resources

Corey & Amy met on the campus of the University of North Dakota while Corey was working on a short assignment with Wycliffe and Amy was working on her M.A in Applied Linguistics, and were married in 2013. They have sons, Edward & James. They are thrilled to serve together with Wycliffe in partnership with you, using their gifts and training to serve the Mixe people.
