Dan serves as an aircraft maintenance technician (AMT) and Aviation Technical Data Specialist at JAARS in Waxhaw, North Carolina. Jen serves in a volunteer capacity as part of the pastoral team in our local church. They have three teenage/young adult children. Before coming to JAARS in 2015, the Snow family served in aviation in Papua New Guinea for 10 years and in Cameroon for 3 years.
JAARS covers the last mile of missions, using special-purpose aircraft, boats and off-road vehicles so that unreached people can experience God’s Word and his love. JAARS partners with Wycliffe Global Alliance organizations and others to make Bible translation work possible. Dan's work at JAARS supports aviation programs all over the world, including those in Cameroon and Papua New Guinea. Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
