Lynn and Jeannette have been Wycliffe members since 1983. After completing their training, they served initially as linguist/translators for a group of Southeast Asian refugees living in the Seattle area. More recently they have served in a variety of roles helping to bring God's Word to people groups who do not yet have it in a language or form they can understand. Lynn and Jeannette have four adult children and two grandchildren. (Their twin daughters are also Wycliffe translators, serving in Southeast Asia!)
Lynn's current assignment involves using his background in linguistics and translation as an academic editor. He typically works with various resources that aid in the training of translators, including mother-tongue translators. He and Jeannette have both enjoyed being presenters on behalf of Wycliffe at various recruitment events over the years.
After living in Vermont for five years where Jeannette served as pastor of Covenant Community Church, the Convers returned to Washington at the end of 2022. They live in Mount Vernon, and Jeannette is currently the pastor of Lynden United Methodist Church.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
