Andy & Kristen arrived in West Africa in January 2000. The Weathers serve a wonderful community who, since 2020, now has the New Testament in their language. The Weathers are grateful to their African colleagues who have taught them how to live, love and be at home in their location. Old Testament translation is underway and literacy classes continue in towns and villages. Many speakers of the language are asking for more reading materials on their phones. One of the top priorities is making scripture apps and creating new reading apps at different reading levels. The translation team continues to lead the work and grow in their capacity. The Weathers’ mission is to remotely empower the translation team to reach their own people with God's Word. They fervently desire to see a reproducing body of Christ who worship in the local language.
