Jim and Michele Axelson have been members of Wycliffe since 2004 and spent 11 years living and working in Papua New Guinea as members of the PNG Branch. They are now living stateside.
Jim serves as the Field Technology Systems Manager, providing expertise in all Field Technology needs and supporting ongoing software development. In addition, he serves as a trusted adviser to partners and customers, understanding their business objectives and providing technical guidance on how various technology solutions can address their needs. He also continues to administer the Bible translation project planning software, Hummingbird.
Michele works at Wycliffe USA as Vice President of Workforce Partnerships & Development. She provides leadership to several of our workforce initiatives, working closely with our global partner organizations to enhance collaboration and help our shared staff flourish in their callings to advance Bible translation.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
