Dave & Deb Barton

Dave and Deb have been serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea since 1999, Dave as a pilot for 18 years, serving the remote Bible translation programs around the country before moving into administration and serving two years as the Director for Infrastructure Services and four years as country Director. Deb has worked in various roles to support Bible translation, including finance, administration, and youth work.

They have two sons, James (23) and Josiah (18). James is serving with the US Air Force and is in the process of moving to a new assignment in Korea. Josiah, is a freshman at Liberty University, studying aviation maintenance.

The Bartons are currently on home assignment and are prayerfully considering taking a Wycliffe assignment in the USA which will continue to support Bible translation and enable them to be more available to assist with their parents' care and their boys for the foreseeable future.
