The Wrights work on creating tools and resources so that pastors, church planters, missionaries and other Christians around the world can be assisted in translating the Bible themselves. These tools and resources can go places and be accessed by churches in hard to reach areas, areas where governments are preventing traditional Bible translators’ access, or areas where Bible translators aren’t able to reach yet because there’s not enough of them.

Benjamin is also in a training program for a future role as a Bible translation consultant, a position filled by only a couple hundred highly over-tasked and often well past retirement age dedicated saints whose ranks are thinning faster than Wycliffe and other Bible translation agencies can replace them. With that training and certification Benjamin will be able to oversee Bible translation projects and guide teams in gaining the training and experience they need to produce quality Bible translations.
