Nathan and Valerie met while teaching at Faith Academy in Manila, Philippines. As a couple they joined Wycliffe in 2006 and continued their service at Faith. In 2017, they answered the call to work at the Wycliffe Headquarters in Orlando. In 2025, God called them to serve with Wycliffe's partner organization JAARS (Jungle Aviation And Relay Service); Nathan is serving as the Missionary Family Care Manager. Valerie's primary role has been to get the family settled and is now seeking what role is next for her.
The Missionary Family Care Team runs the JAARS early childhood center, JAARS Youth, educational consulting for our launching missionaries, training to prepare missionary kids to go overseas, train others in the complexities of raising kids overseas and parenting seminars. There is also a need to develop on-field care for families and care for families as they return from the field.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its members to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts members' ability to begin and remain in their assignment.
This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the members receive as "take-home pay" for their daily living expenses.
