After 13 years building high quality medical and insurance applications, Darren is using his experience and training in software development, to develop Paratext. Paratext greatly assists in producing higher quality translations, in much less time than previous tools and methods have allowed. Currently used by over 2400 Bible translation projects around the world, this application is making God’s Word available to those who have never had it in their own language.

Christina will be primarily caring for and educating their five children. As able, she also looks forward to using her background in Public Relations to advocate on behalf of Bibleless people groups.

The Christensen’s both have a deep love for God’s Word and the transforming power it has in their own lives. They desire that every person has an opportunity to hear of God’s love and forgiveness and thus grow in their knowledge and love for Him, through His Word.
