Allan and Kathy joined Wycliffe in 1983 and began serving in Colombia in 1985 in the computer department and the print shop. Eight years later, they moved to Waxhaw, North Carolina, to start work with JAARS, where Allan led the computer orientation program and later became Director of International Computer Services. Kathy worked in publishing and human resources. From 2006 to 2007, the Courtrights were dorm parents at Faith Academy in Manila, Philippines. They later returned to JAARS, where Allan became the Director of Facilities, and Kathy led tours of the JAARS center. In 2017, Allan began serving as the Vice President of campus facilities and services.

 

Allan and Kathy are retiring to Waxhaw, North Carolina. In their retirement, they look forward to volunteering at JAARS and continuing to mentor and encourage the next generation. They are blessed to have family nearby and plan to pour into the lives of their nine grandchildren. They will continue to serve with their local church and care for Allan’s mother.
