Daniel & Debbie Watters

Born to Wycliffe missionaries and raised in Asia, Daniel has served with Wycliffe in a variety of roles since 1994. After their marriage in August 2012, Daniel and Debbie moved to Asia where Daniel was a country Director and Debbie taught ESL. Having returned from the field in 2019, they are now based in Waco, Texas where they both serve with Wycliffe’s partner, SIL. Debbie teaches English to SIL staff around the world and Daniel supports SIL's efforts to be locally sustainable, strengthening the Bible translation movement. Daniel also serves on Wycliffe USA’s board.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment.

This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.

Launch Expense Account

Wycliffe establishes the Launch Expense Account for setup needs beyond recurring ministry and living expenses.

Examples of what these funds cover are training and orientation courses, airfare, visas, immunizations, language learning, work permits, house setup, vehicle, equipment purchases, shipping, etc.
