The Wycliffe Ministry of

Jeff and Sissie successfully completed the translation of the New Testament in the Arop dialect of the Arop-Lokep language spoken on Long Island, Papua New Guinea in 2014. Since then, they adapted that translation into the Lokep dialect which is spoken on nearby Tolokiwa Island. They are continuing in the Arop-Lokep language development project through involvement with Scripture use activities and training; linguistic analysis and description; and Old Testament translation.
This is an exciting time for Jeff and Sissie as they pursue these challenging goals over the last few years of their careers before retirement. They would like to invite you to partner with their Wycliffe ministry and help them to finish well.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment. This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.
